In accordance with the decision of the General Synaxis in 2009, Fr. George Vallikattukuzhyil, the then General Councilor for Missionary Apostolate, visited Brazil in 2011 and had meetings with Dom Angelo Pignoli, Bishop of Quixada, and Dom Salvador Paruzzo, Bishop of Ourinhos. The bishops welcomed our priests for ministry in their respective dioceses. The Diocese of Ourinhos was assigned to MCBS Zion Province. Accordingly our first missionaries reached Brazil on 13thFebruary 2012.
