The second voyage of the MCBS was in 2009. A group of missionaries including Fr. JobyKumblanickal, Fr. TijanParathottil, Fr. John Kandavanathil, Fr. SubiPuthara and two seminarians Bro. ShinoyKaruvelil and Bro. Jimmy Kalloor reached the diocese of Diphu.

They were assigned to different mission parishes for one year so that they could learn the language and get acquainted with the local culture.
