God wishes to make His chosen ones to pass through a desert experience of encounting God and themselves in silence and solitude to
bring them to a relationship of love and covenant. Jesus through His desert experience was transformed to the power of God and emerged
with new assurance a new depth of commitment to his mission. The experience of God through a solid grounding in prayer and meditative
reflection on the Word of God enables the novice to withdraw himself gradually from all that is alien to the values of the Kingdom and to follow Christ.
During the novitiate, therefore, the novice receive a concrete experience of religious life by assimilating into their lives the ideals, values and attitude of religious life and the charism of our congregation, living the evangelical counsels in the community, learning to live a life entirely based on faith, and getting initiated into a life of prayer and other spiritual exercises.
