In 2005 Mar Joseph Kunnath, the then Bishop of Adilabad, entrusted to MCBS for independent mission work three Mandal in the then Andrapradesh. The Mission was inaugurated in rented house on 3rdJuly 2006 by Bishop Joseph Kunnath in the presence of the then Superior General of the MCBS, the then Provincial Superior of MCBS Zion Province, a number of priests and sisters..

The significance of Adilabad Diocese is that geographically it is the north most districts of Telangana and ecclesiastically, almost all the faithful are new converts. In 2010 the headquarters of the Mission was shifted to MCBSSnehadana, 4 km away from Luxettipet town.
